Support for mapp Vision is fully integrated with the upgrade to Automation Studio 4.7. When the Technology Package is installed, the correct firmware is automatically installed on all required components. This simplifies configuration considerably and prevents errors.
B&R has integrated the HALCON machine vision library from MVTec into mapp Vision. These well-proven algorithms enable robust, high-performance solutions for position detection, completeness inspection, quality grading, measurement and identification.
To simplify accessibility, B&R has encapsulated these algorithms in powerful and easily configurable image processing functions. This allows a variety of tasks to be solved quickly without having to write a single line of code.
