This section describes how to add and link the software components required for a user application with machine vision. The required settings are described in the following sections.
•mapp Vision software components
•First, the vision settings file (.vicfg), a vision component (.visioncomponent) and a vision application (.visionapplication) are added to the mapp Vision folder.

Information:
It is advisable to give easily recognizable names to both the vision component and the vision application. The element is referenced, not the file. The new element name is not applied until it has been saved. Vision applications cannot be renamed in the visual editor, only in the table editor.

•The vision component must now be referenced in the camera configuration.
•To do this, select the camera module in the Physical View and open the configuration by right-clicking and selecting <Configuration>.

•In the camera configuration, a reference to the vision component that was just created is added under <Reference> / <Vision component reference>.

•The vision application itself is assigned in the vision component.
