HMI application home screen
The mapp Vision HMI application can be opened via the following URL: [IP_ADDRESS_PLS]:81/index.html?visuId=mappVision.
This requires the Automation Studio project on the controller to contain a correctly configured mapp Vision camera module; this module must be connected and the mapp Vision HMI application must be enabled in the project's general machine vision settings.
The figure below shows the home screen of the mapp Vision HMI application. To be able to connect to a camera module, a user with write access must be logged in. The vision component is also selected on the home screen and thus also the camera to which the HMI application should be connected.
Information:
If the HMI application is connected to a camera, mapp Vision uses some data points from this camera. This can disrupt user applications!
At the same time, the HMI application is disturbed by user applications or operation via the I/O mapping. It is therefore strongly recommended that the I/O data points of the camera are not affected while the HMI application is open.
The data point for the camera status indicates whether the HMI application is open. For more detailed information, see CameraStatus.
Caution!
While the camera is busy, the page is not permitted to be closed or updated via browser refresh. The mapp Vision HMI application is designed to be navigated using the buttons and drop-down boxes available in the HMI application.
