button_execute_vision_function

Tabs above the image

Tab "ROI tools" contains the buttons and tools used for defining "Model ROI" and Execution ROI. ROI stands for "region of interest". A variety of geometric shapes are available for defining the ROI. These shapes can be added and subtracted. There is also a freehand drawing tool that can be used to add individual pixels to the ROI or remove them from it. For a detailed description of these tools, see subsection ROI tools.

Tab "Vision applications" contains the buttons for saving, loading and deleting vision applications. For additional information, see Saving, loading or deleting the vision application.

Tab "Filter results" contains the input field for the filter index as well as buttons for displaying or hiding the graphic markings for the results. For additional information about the filter functions, see subsection Filtering the results of a vision function.

Buttons below the image

The functions of the individual buttons available in view "Vision function" are described in the table.

button_edit_execution_roi

"Edit ROI"

Opens edit mode for ROI areas.

In tab "Vision function": Opens edit mode for the Execution ROI. The button is disabled for vision functions that do not have a general Execution ROI.

In tab "Edit models": Opens edit mode for the selected "Model ROI".

Parameters and process variables of the vision function (area on the right)

Tab "Vision function" contains three lists: the parameters, constants and process variables for the vision function. If the selected vision function has no parameters, the parameter list will be empty. Since constants cannot be edited at runtime, this list is for informational purposes only. The list of process variables provides all of the corresponding cyclic inputs and outputs, regardless of how they were configured in the vision application.

For additional information about individual parameters, constants and process variables, see Vision functions. For a description of some usability features, see subsection Usability.

The models of the selected vision function instance can be edited on tab "Edit models" if this vision function can contain models. For additional information, see subsection Models.

Information:

In the register description of the Vision functions, parameters and constants belong to category "Acyclic parameters". "Process variables" belong to "Cyclic parameters".

Information:

Changes made in the mapp Vision HMI application must always be actively transferred to the camera. This is generally done using the following button:

button_execute_vision_function
